Here, you will find everything you need to know about our Virtuos S-410 cash drawer.
The cash drawer is connected to your printer via a cable with an RJ connector. It features a key-operated lock with three positions for unlocking the drawer. Inside, you will find a compartment divided into twelve sections, four of which are for banknotes with clip holders, and eight for coins. The coin tray is removable, and at the front of the drawer, there is also an opening for inserting meal vouchers (which can be found under the coin tray).
The cash drawer is fully integrated with the Storyous system and communicates with the application via the printer. For proper operation, the printer must also be properly connected to the tablet.
The drawer can be connected to all of our printer models, except for the portable ones. The drawer draws power from the printer, and no adapter is needed to plug it into the power network.
If the key is in the neutral position, the drawer will automatically open when a bill is closed in the Storyous POS app on the tablet. If you leave the key turned all the way to the left, the drawer will remain closed after payment is completed, but it will emit a sound. The drawer can also be opened manually by turning the key to the right in the drawer's lock.
