Large Bluetooth Printer

In this article, we’ll go through the basic steps needed to work with the Xprinter XP-C260-N printer with an 80 mm paper roll width, which connects via Bluetooth.

You’ll learn how to correctly insert paper into the printer, how to pair it with a tablet, and how to find its physical address. This address needs to be entered into our internal system so that the Storyous POS app on your tablet can communicate with the printer without any issues.

Loading the Paper Roll

Open the top of the printer and insert the roll into the internal compartment, ensuring that the paper unwinds upward, as shown in the image. If the paper is running low, a red panel on the front of the printer will light up.

Tip: Use high-quality thermal paper (you can order them through our sales department; contact information can be found here).

Self-test

The self-test is a small printout containing information about your device. To print it, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the printer using the button on the right side.

  2. Press and hold the Feed button, then turn the printer back on. Release the button after approximately 3 seconds.

  3. The printed ticket will include the BT ADDRESS information.

USB Connection

If you are using a 14" or 15" POS terminal, you can connect the printer using a USB cable. Changes in our internal system are required, so please contact us for USB setup.

To ensure proper USB functionality, connect the cable to the correct port on the tablet:

  • 14" POS terminal: USB-OTG (gray),

  • 15" iMin POS terminal: USB 3 (blue).

Diagnostics

  • Blue Power Indicator:
If the blue Power light is on, the printer is properly connected, and the power supply is working correctly. If the light is off, check that the power adapter is properly connected.

  • Red Error Indicator:
If the red Error light is blinking, it may indicate a problem with the automatic cutter, overheating of the print head, or an empty paper roll. If the Error light stays on, try unplugging the printer for 5–10 minutes to let it “rest.”

  • Red Paper Indicator:
If the red Paper light is blinking, the printer is signaling that it has run out of paper.
