The C260 printers come in two versions, one with LAN and one with Bluetooth – both use 80mm rolls.
By default, the printer is set without a beep after each slip and allows continuous printing without interruption. Other versions allow for different settings.
The C260 H/N series printers are primarily designed for printing orders in kitchens or noisy environments. They feature both light and sound signals with adjustable volume. This can be adjusted using the instructions below, but only with a computer running Windows OS.
These functions can be set with the XPrinter V3.0C configuration tool. Download it here. (The file is in .rar format, so you will need to open it with something like WinRAR). The file contains multiple files, but the only one you need is XPrinter.exe. Install that file. The program will open, but we also need to install the driver from the link here. (The driver is only used for communication with the printer).
Printer Settings
We recommend printing a self-test and checking the current printer settings. (See the image below with the printed self-test). Then, select one of the versions and send the codes to the printer using the instructions.
IT’S UP TO YOU HOW YOU WANT YOUR PRINTER TO FUNCTION. Using a combination of codes, you can select different settings for printing slips and sound signaling.
Each time you change the code, turn the printer off and back on.
Version 1: NO BEEP / BEEPS when printing and allows printing more slips without tearing them off
- Cutter peel mode: no
- Cutter with alarm: yes
- Cutter idle alarm: no
If you want the printer to BEEP while printing, turn the printer upside down and use the hidden rocker switch (#2) at the bottom of the printer to turn the function on.
Version 2: BEEPS twice with a time gap and continues BEEPING until you tear off the slip. The next print doesn’t happen until then
- Cutter peel mode: yes
- Cutter with alarm: yes
- Cutter idle alarm: yes
If you want the printer to BEEP while printing, turn the printer upside down and use the hidden rocker switch (#2) at the bottom of the printer to turn the function on.
Version 3: PRINTS SLIPS without BEEPING, but continues BEEPING with a time gap until you tear off the slip. The next print doesn’t happen until then
- Cutter peel mode: yes
- Cutter with alarm: no
- Cutter idle alarm: yes
If you want the printer to BEEP while printing, turn the printer upside down and use the hidden rocker switch (#2) at the bottom of the printer to turn the function on.
Version 4: NO BEEP while printing and allows printing more slips without tearing them off
- Cutter peel mode: no
- Cutter with alarm: no
- Cutter idle alarm: no
In this mode, the printer’s sound is completely turned off. There will be no sound signal even after the rocker switch (#2) is activated.

). - Send the code to the printer by clicking "Print".
- The printer will alert you to successful configuration by blinking and possibly emitting a sound signal.
- You can verify the code settings with the self-test print. (Instructions for printing the self-test: Turn off the printer, hold FEED, turn it on, and release FEED after the blue light goes out).
- You can reset these settings anytime by restoring the factory settings. (Instructions for reset: Turn off the printer, hold FEED, turn it on, and release FEED after about 20 seconds).
