Pairing the Mobile Payment Terminal mpos / rpos - Ingenico ICM122

If you have received a payment terminal and want to start accepting card payments, you need to first pair the terminal with your tablet or register. This process is simple and can be done by anyone.

1. Preparing the terminal for pairing

  1. Check if the terminal is sufficiently charged.
  2. On the right side of the terminal, you will find a button (1) to turn the terminal on. The terminal must be disconnected from the charger during pairing.

  3. Once the terminal is turned on, wait until the device name – DEVICE NAME, and the specific terminal label (POP-XX-XX-XX) (2) appear on the display.

  4. The display will show a prompt to press the green button (press GREEN key), but please wait until the terminal is paired with the tablet before pressing it.

2. Preparing the tablet or register

  1. Make sure that the Bluetooth adapter is enabled in the Android settings (3).
  2. Your terminal should appear in the list of available devices as POP-XX-XX-XX (5).

3. Pairing the terminal in the Storyous POS app

  1. Log in to the Storyous POS app.
  2. Go to the Devices section (6).

  3. Select the option Add device (7). On the right side of the screen, you will see the name of your terminal and its PIN code (8). Write down this PIN carefully.

  4. Tap the red tile for the terminal and enter the PIN in the dialog box.
  5. Once the PIN is entered, press the green button on the terminal to confirm the pairing.

  6. In the Storyous POS app, the terminal will appear as "in range" and "online." On the terminal’s display, you will see the ČSOB logo and the symbol of a crossed-out eye (9), which means the terminal is not visible to other Bluetooth devices.

Your terminal is now ready for use, and you can start accepting payments!

Troubleshooting - Re-pairing

If the terminal is not working properly, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the terminal from the Devices section in the Storyous POS app and also from the paired devices in the Bluetooth settings in Android.
  2. Reset the terminal by pressing and holding the power button until DEVICE NAME: POP-XX-XX-XX appears on the display.
  3. Repeat the entire process from the beginning.

If the terminal still cannot be paired, adjust the settings on your tablet:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Storyous POS.
  2. Select Permissions > Location and enable Allow always.

If the terminal displays the message "CANCELED BY USER", press F4 to unlock the terminal and confirm with the green OK button. Then enter the password 11111111 and confirm.
