The Employee Attendance feature helps you efficiently track working hours, simplify administration, and facilitate payroll calculation. Employees can easily record their check-in, check-out, and breaks directly in the system.
Examples of Use
- Employees log into the system when arriving and leaving work.
- Option to track breaks if the feature is enabled.
- Clear management of employee shifts in the administration.
- Export of worked hours in XLSX format for easier data processing.
Activation
You can activate or deactivate the Employee Attendance feature in the settings: Settings → Clock in/out. If you disable it, the option to record arrivals and departures will not be available.
Employee Attendance in Web Administration
The Employee Attendance feature is available in the Reports → Worked Hours section. In this overview, you will see:
- Total number of employees on a shift
- Total number of worked hours
- Average number of hours per employee/day
Below these statistics, you will find a chart comparing revenue and worked hours, allowing you to evaluate your team’s performance over different periods.
If no shifts have been recorded yet, an informational message will appear. You can add shifts directly on this page by clicking "Add Shift", or record them via the cash register.
Attendance in the Cash Register
Once the feature is activated, employees will see the option to check in and check out via the cash register. Checking in records the start of the working hours, and checking out marks the end of the shift. If break tracking is enabled, employees can also log their break durations.
Shift Start
If automatic shift start is not enabled, the "Start your shift" screen will appear, where the employee must manually start the shift by clicking the "Start Shift" button.
End shift
If the user logs out of the checkout, the change remains active. To end it, the exchange must be manually ended, or the system will end it after a preset time.
