What is Choice and what does it do?
Choice is an online ordering and payment system that allows guests to conveniently order and pay via a QR code without the need to download an app or register. The QR code on the table is linked to that specific table in the Storyous system. After scanning, the guest sees an online menu and can:
pay the whole bill or only selected items (split the bill),
order directly from the table,
create a delivery or takeaway order.
Payment options include Apple Pay, Google Pay, or an online card. Upon payment, details of the paid items are transferred to Storyous and a receipt (bon) with details is printed.

Activation in Storyous
You can activate the Choice integration in the web admin of Storyous via the gear icon → Integrations.
After activation, set up your menu in the Choice platform and assign each item a POS ID from Storyous (located under Businesses → Products).
Display in admin and POS
Payments appear in the web admin as “Paid in advance”. In the Storyous POS, you can view the current bill status, paid items, and new orders.
A receipt with details (ordered items, customer notes, contact info, order time, payment method) is printed upon payment.
Orders are not visible in the mobile waiter app, only on the main POS terminal.
Features of Choice with Storyous
QR Pay at table – guest pays at the table; the bill updates and a receipt is printed.
QR Order at table – order transfers to Choice Business and Storyous; after confirmation, a bon and receipt are printed.
Delivery & takeaway orders – customer selects and pays, the order goes to Choice Business and Storyous.

Troubleshooting
Check synchronization and internet connection, especially on the main (master) device.
Make sure that Do Not Disturb mode is turned off – payment notifications are only displayed for 5 minutes.
