Cash flow

You can find Cash flow on the main device in the Menu ≡. Here you can enter the beginning state, add a movement – a deposit or withdrawal including the reason – and perform a cash up or print its preview.

Important:

  • All operations with cash movements can also be performed from the administration. You can find them in the section Bills -> Bills.

  • If you have the user role of owner or manager, you will see the complete history of movements. In the case of the head waiter or lower roles, you will see a list of cash movements from the last 48 hours.

In this article, you will find a description of each function as well as extensions such as the Blind Closure or Automatically reset cash flow state after closure.

English subtitles are available in the video.

Cash flow

At the top you will always see a time range, which you can change by clicking on the calendar icon in the top left. The list will always show only the data from the selected period. Here you will also find the date and time of actions performed, what type of action it was, and who performed it (or the name of the user role).

By clicking on Detail you can view information about it, and Print Copy will print a duplicate for you.

At the bottom you will find three buttons – Enter begging state, Add movement and Cash up. These are described below.

Enter Begging State

You will use this function, for example, if you leave 1000 CZK in the cash register every day, the sales were 1409 CZK, so 409 CZK will be set aside as profit and you enter 1000 CZK as the initial state, which is also the value in the cash drawer.

Click Enter Initial State and you will see the current cash amount – sales of 1409 CZK, enter 1000 CZK and you can also add an optional note. After entering the initial state, all cash sales will be added to it.

Important

  • The Enter Initial State button is available only after performing a closure. Once you enter the initial state or make any sale in the app, the button will turn black and can no longer be clicked.
  • If you have the Automatic Cash Reset function enabled, the button will always remain grey. You can enable/disable automatic reset in the administration under Settings -> Cash flow.

Add Movement

Anytime between entering the initial state and performing a closure, you can use the Add Movement button to change the current cash register balance. In the dialog window, select whether it is a deposit or withdrawal (whether the entered amount will be added to or subtracted from the current balance), enter the specific amount, choose a movement category (these are set in the web administration under Bills -> Cash flow) and optionally add a note describing the purpose of the movement.

Cash up

If you want to close the revenue, you must perform a closure. In the window after pressing the Perform Closure button, you will see information that will be printed on the closure – this way you can quickly check the current revenue throughout the day. You can also easily Print a preview of the closure.

The preview shows revenues by payment type, received currencies (this function can be activated by our support), the current cash balance (initial state together with revenue and deposits, adjusted by withdrawals).

You will also see an overview of discounts and tips by payment type. If you want to display additional information, you can change the settings in the administration in Settings -> Cash flow. For example, you can add overviews by order printing (bar and kitchen print totals), by staff or by sold products, which will be printed directly on the closure.

If you have an integrated payment terminal, performing the closure on the tablet will automatically perform the closure on the terminal as well, so you do not need to close it separately on the payment device. The printed receipt will also contain card payment details.

Blind Closure

The blind closure is used only for users with the waiter role. The user will see a window for entering the amount of cash they have in the cash drawer or wallet.

After performing the closure, the user will not see the amount in the list of closures. When a user with higher permissions logs in, they will see the closure with the amount that was actually in the register according to the system.
