In the Reports → Payment Terminal section, you will find detailed information about all payments made via the payment terminal, including data on tips (the system considers the difference between the receipt amount and the actually paid amount as a tip).
|
Note: In order for transactions from the payment terminal to appear in the web administration reports, it is necessary to connect the Teya terminal with the Storyous POS system. If you are interested in connecting the systems, feel free to contact us. You can find our contact details on the official Storyous website. |
| Note: Chart controls, date range selection, data comparison, and export options are the same across all reports. For a detailed description, see Working with reports and statistics. |
Data in the report
At the top of the page there is a panel with key values, calculated from data received from your connected payment terminal.
- Revenue incl. VAT – total amount of payments received through the connected payment terminal.
- Tips – the difference between the receipt amount and the amount actually paid via the payment terminal.
- Average spend per person incl. VAT – the average value per customer paid by card.
- Number of persons – the sum of all recorded guest counts on bills during the selected period that were paid by card.
Activating guest count recording
To ensure the statistic “Average spend per person” displays correctly, you need to enable the function “Require guest count entry” in the POS settings.
This option can be found in: POS Settings → Require guest count entry. More details are available in this article.
If you do not wish to keep this feature enabled, the number of guests can also be entered when closing the bill – directly in the payment completion window you can select how many guests are paying the bill.
Revenue table by card type
Below the chart you will find the “revenue by card type” table, which shows the breakdown of revenue by individual card types.
The table displays:
- Payment type – the card used for the transaction.
- Revenue – the total amount received using that card type.
- Tips – the difference between the receipt amount and the amount paid via the terminal using that card type.
- Average spend per person – average value per customer for that card type.
- Number of persons – number of guests served using that card type.
- At the bottom of the table, you will find total sums for the selected period.
You can easily export the table to Excel by clicking the “Export table” option in the top-right corner.
