Alerts for unattended guests and number of customers
In the initial part of this settings section, you can enable or disable functions for your POS and the ordering process. For example, you can set the time for alerts about unserved customers or enable the function for entering the number of people when creating a new order.
The number of persons can be useful in Reports, for example to find out the average spend per person, and for setting up alerts so that staff know when no further order has been placed at a specific table within the set time.
Tips
In this section, you can manage the display of tipping tables in the Storyous app for card and cash payments. You can find more in our article Tips.
Table map, screen and button layout
Here you can adjust how the Storyous app is displayed on your till. You can enable larger icons on our 14'' till and the display of the table map on the 14'' and 15'' POS.
You can also activate Quick payment, which is useful for retail or stall sales where payment is taken immediately. You can find more about this feature in the article Faster process of payment (Retail mode).
Order slips
In this section, you can set a smaller order print format, which will save paper, and if you do not need space on orders for inserting them into an order holder, you can enable headerless printing.
