When paying in cash, it is possible to enable the option to enter a tip and thus record it in the system. When completing the payment, select the payment type Cash and a table will appear where you can enter the new amount the customer wants to pay. The difference is automatically calculated and considered a tip by the system.
You can enable or disable the tipping feature in your web administration under Settings -> POS settings.
For card payments, the option to enter a tip during payment completion is enabled by default. You can disable or enable the tipping feature in your web administration under Settings -> POS settings.
Tips are not part of revenue, therefore they are not displayed in the Income overview and are not shown on the printed receipt either. Information about the total amount of tips on the cash register can be found in the Bill detail or on the Cashflow.
Or in the section Bills -> Cash flow in the closing reports.
Tips from the integrated payment terminal can also be found in the section Reports -> Payment terminal.
Tip: If you use a connection with a Teya terminal, you can enable tip entry directly on the terminal. You can find more information in the article in the Teya Help Center. |
