In the Reports → Staff section, you can see the performance of individual members of your staff and compare their work according to various indicators.
| Note: Chart controls, date range selection, data comparison, and export options are the same across all reports. For a detailed description, see Working with reports and statistics. |
Data in the report
In the staff overview, you will find the following indicators.
-
Total paid bills – the total value of all bills that the given waiter closed and issued a receipt for during the selected period.
Formula: Sum of the sales prices of items on all paid bills that the waiter closed. (Does not include open bills; discounts and voids are counted based on how they were posted on the bill.) -
Number of guests – how many guests the waiter served.
Formula: Sum of the number of persons from each bill that the waiter created or took over.
(If the bill lists number of guests = 3, it counts as 3 persons. If a waiter takes over a bill from a colleague, the guest count is assigned to the waiter who closed the bill.) -
Deleted items – how many items the waiter removed from bills. This serves only as statistics – the complete list of deleted items can be found in Cancellations and discounts control.
Formula: Number of all items that the user removed from bills. -
Tips – the total amount of tips the staff received via payment terminal and cash, if you have cash tip acceptance enabled. How to activate tip acceptance can be found in this article.
Formula: Sum of tips from the payment terminal + cash tips assigned to the given waiter based on the bills.
Activating guest count tracking
For the “Number of guests” statistic to display correctly, you need to have the “Require entering number of guests” function enabled in the cash register settings.
You can find this option in: Cash register settings → Require entering number of guests. More details can be found in this article.
If you prefer not to have this function enabled, you can still enter the number of guests when closing a bill – directly in the payment completion window, where you can select how many guests are paying the bill.
Revenue by waiters
Below the chart, you will find a table displaying an overview of revenue broken down by individual waiters. This table allows you to quickly compare their performance and gain a detailed insight into how each of them worked during the selected period.
The table includes indicators such as:
- Total paid bills – the total revenue from bills closed by the waiter and paid by customers.
- Number of guests – how many guests were served.
- Deleted items – number of items removed from the bill (e.g., due to mistake).
- Opened and paid bills – how many bills the waiter opened and how many of them were eventually closed.
- Average spend – the average value of one paid bill.
- Tips – the total amount of tips paid by card and allocated by user to show who received them.
This overview helps you quickly analyze productivity, identify potential discrepancies, and monitor the quality of work of each staff member.
You can easily export table data to Excel by clicking the “Export Table” button in the top right corner.
