In the Feedback section of the web administration, you can easily submit ideas for improvements, vote for existing suggestions, comment on them, and track what is already being worked on and what has already been completed.
You can find this section in the web administration under Settings (the gear icon) → Feedback.
All feedback and updates are available in one place directly in the administration. This means you do not need to search for information in newsletters, and at the same time, you can immediately see which ideas are most requested by users and what stage they are in.
Contents of the Feedback section
At the top of the page, you will find individual tabs that you can switch between. The available pages are Improvement Idea, Roadmap, Changelog, and User Profile.
Important: The language of the Feedback page depends on the country the business belongs to. So if it is a Slovak business, the page will be displayed in Slovak; for a Czech business, it will be displayed in Czech. We recommend using the built-in English translation directly in your web browser. You can submit your idea to us in English, and we will take care of translating it for other Storyous users. |
Improvement Idea
On this page, you can write your own idea for improving Storyous.
Simply click the red button, fill in the proposal title, add a description, and optionally include an image.
When adding an idea, names are hidden from other users. Other users therefore cannot see who created the specific suggestion, and ideas are displayed anonymously in the list.
At the same time, you can see a list of all improvement ideas that other users have already added to the system. Individual suggestions can be filtered by status and also sorted, for example by the date added or by the number of votes.
Other users will see your suggestions and can support them with a vote. The more votes an idea receives, the greater the chance that it will be included in future development planning. You can also see already created requests here and add your vote or comment to them.
Roadmap
In the Roadmap, you can see individual suggestions divided by status. You will find ideas for which voting is currently in progress, suggestions that are already being worked on, as well as those that are completed.
This gives you a quick overview of what is still in the voting phase and what is already being actively prepared or has been completed.
Changelog
In the Changelog, you will find an overview of the latest updates and announcements about which new features or improvements have been added to the system.
If you want to keep even better track of updates, you can also subscribe to notifications.
User Profile
After clicking the profile icon, you will be taken to your user page. Here you can see your posts, edit your profile, and manage notification settings.
This gives you an overview of everything you have added to the Feedback section in one place, and you can track support for your suggestions from other Storyous users.
In the Notification Settings section, you can choose which email notifications you want to receive. For example, you can set alerts for a change in feedback status, new comments on feedback, replies to your posts and comments, or changelog update notifications.
| Tip: If you do not want to receive too many emails, we recommend mainly keeping Feedback status updates, Comments on feedback, and Replies to your posts and comments enabled. This way, you will not miss important changes related to the suggestions you follow or have added yourself. |
Changelog updates can be enabled if you want to receive information about newly published updates. However, if you do not want to be notified about every new system change, you can leave this option turned off.
The Unsubscribe from everything option turns off all email notifications at once. After each settings change, you need to click the Save preferences button.
