Connect Premium Analytics to your AI assistant

Ask questions about your sales, products, users and stock in plain language in Claude or ChatGPT - from your computer or phone. Setup takes about two minutes and you only do it once.

Screenshots in this guide show the English interface. If you use Premium Analytics, Claude or ChatGPT in another language, the buttons are in the same place.

Before you start

• Premium Analytics: Prepare a Storyous login that can open Premium Analytics at analytics.storyous.com.
• Claude, ChatGPT or another AI tool: Make sure your AI assistant lets you add a custom connector. Ideally, do the setup on a computer; afterwards the connector also works in the mobile app.
• Assistant access: The assistant gets read-only access to the same reports and venues you can see. It cannot create, edit or delete anything in Storyous.

PART A: Get your connection link from Premium Analytics

1. Log in to Premium Analytics

Open analytics.storyous.com and click Login with Storyous. Use the same account you use for the Web Administration.

2. Open AI assistants

Click the profile icon in the top right corner and choose AI assistants.

3. Copy your connection link

On the MCP Server settings page, check that AI access is switched on, then click Copy URL. The link is the same for everyone. Your later Storyous sign-in keeps your data private.

PART B: Add the connector to Claude

Using ChatGPT? Skip to Part C.

4. Open Connectors in Claude settings

In Claude, click your name in the bottom left corner, open Settings, then under Customize choose Connectors. Click Add in the top right.

5. Choose Add custom connector

Choose Add custom connector.

6. Paste the link and continue

In Name, enter Storyous Premium Analytics or any other name. In MCP server URL, paste the link you copied in step 3. Click Continue and leave the advanced settings empty.

7. Sign in with Storyous and approve

Claude opens a Storyous window. Sign in if asked, then click Approve.

8. Check the connection

The connector shows a tick in the Status column. Claude stays connected until you disconnect it.

9. Check that the connector is on in your chat

Start a new chat, click + in the message box, open Connectors and make sure your Storyous connector is switched on. It is on by default.

PART C: Add the connector to ChatGPT

Using Claude? You have already set it up in Part B. Skip to Part D.

4. Open Plugins in ChatGPT

In ChatGPT, click your name in the bottom left corner, open Settings and choose Plugins. Click Browse directory, then Add in the top right.

5. Choose Add custom MCP server

Choose Add custom MCP server.

6. Fill in the form

In Name, enter Storyous Premium Analytics. For Connection, choose Server URL and paste the link from step 3. For Authentication, choose OAuth. Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create as a plugin.

7. Sign in with Storyous and approve

ChatGPT opens a Storyous window. Sign in if asked, then click Approve.

8. Check the connection

Storyous Premium Analytics appears among your installed plugins. ChatGPT stays connected until you remove the plugin.

9. Use the connector in a chat

Start a new chat. ChatGPT uses the plugin automatically when you ask about your business. If it does not, click + in the message box and choose Storyous Premium Analytics.

PART D: Ask your first question

Type a question the way you would ask a colleague. The assistant reads the relevant Premium Analytics charts and answers with figures and the period they cover.

• What were my sales with VAT in September 2026?
• Which 10 products made the most profit in September?
• Compare my venues for the previous 7 days.
• Which user gave the most discounts in September?
• What did I spend on stock-ups by supplier in September?

Manage access

• In Premium Analytics, The AI assistants section shows approved assistants under Connected AI assistants. Click Disconnect to revoke access immediately.
• AI access is the master switch. Turning it off disconnects all assistants and blocks new connections.
• Questions asked through an assistant use the same fair usage limit as the dashboards.
• You can also remove the connector on the assistant's side: Claude → Settings → Connectors → Disconnect or Remove; ChatGPT → Settings → Plugins → Storyous Premium Analytics → Remove.
