Printers are used for printing receipts and order slips (e.g., for the kitchen). They use thermal printing, so you don’t need toner – just thermal paper (80mm wide). All Xprinter printers require a constant power supply. In this article, you will learn how to connect the printer using LAN, Bluetooth, and USB.
Connecting the Printer
- Plug the printer adapter into a power source and turn it on using the button on the right side.
- Make sure the paper is loaded correctly (the paper roll should unwind upwards).
Connection Options
- LAN: Connecting the printer to the router with a LAN cable.
- Bluetooth: Pairing the printer with the cash register via Bluetooth.
- USB: Connecting the printer and the cash register with a USB cable.
LAN Printer Setup
- Plug the LAN cable into the port labeled Net on the back of the printer, and connect the other end to the router.
-
Once connected, the green and orange lights on the Net port will turn on. This indicates that the printer is receiving an internet connection.
