In the Settings section you will find an overview and management of the basic functions of your POS. You can access settings through the Menu icon ≡ (top left corner) -> Settings.
Device Settings
- Here you’ll see the Device name, which allows us to identify the specific tablet.

There is also an indication whether it is the Main POS or not.
- The main cash register is the register through which you can perform the end-of-day closing, manage cash movements, and which sends print commands to the connected printers.
- If you want to change the main device, you need to contact our costumer support.
- In settings you can add a prefix to the order number, which will then appear on the receipt.
- The last option is automatic logout – useful when each staff member logs in with their own account.
Printers
In this section, you can see which printers are connected and which are not. By clicking on a specific printer, additional options will appear:
- You can change its name,
- Check the type of connection – LAN, Bluetooth, or USB (if you wish to change the connection type, for example from Bluetooth to USB, please contact our support team),
- For LAN printers, you can edit the IP address – a complete guide can be found in the article Large LAN Printer,
- Print a test print (a confirmation page will be printed, indicating that your device is printing correctly),
- Check for failed prints.
Payment Terminal
Here you can pair your payment terminal. Click Pair Terminal and select your device — you can recognize it by the serial number found on the back of the terminal. Delivery orders
In this section, you will find settings for receiving external orders. You can enable receipt printing when entering an order manually, set automatic bill closing, or choose which devices will play a notification sound for a new order.
Open cash desk
This button can be activated and used if you have a cash drawer. If you do not see it, please contact our customer support to activate it.
Costumer display
This feature is activated if you are using the Customer Display. Here you can find the connection number for pairing the display or the code to access the display settings. A detailed guide can be found in the article Customer Display.
Storyous Assistant
The Storyous Assistant enables you to accept orders directly via phone. Your customers can easily order food or drinks, and you manage everything directly within the Storyous system. For more information, see this article.
