From 1 January 2027, sales registration will be mandatory for entrepreneurs. The certificates required for registration can be generated from 1 November 2026 via the tax administration.
⚠️ Upload the details to Storyous before 1 January 2027. Without them, the till application will not allow you to close receipts.
The full process in 3 steps
- In DIS+, register your establishment and obtain the registration unit number.
- On the CA EET portal, generate your cash register certificate and the password for it.
- Enter all 3 details in the Storyous web administration.

Step 1: Obtain the registration unit number
- Open the MOJE daně portal and click the Online Financial Office tile.
- Sign in using your bank identity, eID card, data box details or login details provided by the tax administration.
- In DIS+, click the button for electronic sales registration.
- Register your registration unit (establishment). You must enter at least one.
- Make a note of the registration unit number – you will enter it in Storyous.

What is a registration unit?
A place where you sell goods or provide services. This can be:
- a brick-and-mortar or mobile establishment (e.g. a portable stall),
- a website or application through which you sell,
- a means of transport from which you sell,
- you yourself, if you operate outside the places listed above (e.g. a self-employed person without an establishment).

Step 2: Generate the cash register certificate and password
- From DIS+, go to the CA EET certification authority portal.
- Generate a cash register certificate free of charge.
- The certificate password will be displayed during the generation process. Save it immediately – you will enter it in Storyous.
- Download the certificate file to your computer.
💡 Do you have multiple establishments? You can generate a separate certificate for each registration unit.

Step 3: Enter the details in Storyous
- Sign in to the Storyous web administration.
- Open Settings → Fiscal settings.
- Enter:
- registration unit number (from step 1),
- cash register certificate – upload the downloaded file (from step 2),
- certificate password (from step 2).
- Click Save.
Done – we will take care of the rest.
