Location settings in the eKasa system in Slovakia means entering the address or GPS location where the portable cash register is currently being used. This obligation applies to all devices registered as a portable cash register, because the Financial Administration must know at which place the revenue is being recorded. For cash registers that are permanently installed on the premises, the location is not set.
You can set the location directly on the cash register via Menu ≡ → Settings → POS settings → eKasa.
You can choose from 3 options:
- GPS – default option, the location is updated automatically according to the device’s GPS coordinates.
- ADDRESS – manual entry of the address.
- FREE TEXT – most often used for stall / booth sales, where you can enter, for example, the address of the exhibition grounds or marketplace.
