On a tablet with Storyous App with a connected Teya terminal and on the mobile waiter with a built-in payment gateway, you can refund a card payment and cancel the receipt at the same time. You can then find the cancelled receipt in the Cancellations and discounts control in the web administration.
Refunding a card payment
- In the Storyous application open Menu (≡ top left) -> Receipt overview.
- Select the receipt you want to refund or cancel and click Cancel receipt.
- Select a reason and Refund also via terminal (if you do not select this option, the amount will not be returned to the card). You can set up the reasons for cancelling receipts in the web administration in the section Settings -> Bill settings.
- The transaction details will be displayed on the terminal.
- Click Confirm (this is your last chance to cancel the action).
