Sales in Premium Analytics

The Sales section is used to track the development of gross takings, costs, and profit from different perspectives. In one place, it provides both a quick overview of key metrics and a more detailed breakdown depending on which data you want to view.

In the opening view, you will find the main cards showing:

  • gross takings including and excluding VAT,
  • costs including and excluding VAT,
  • profit including and excluding VAT.

The Sales section also displays the development of individual metrics over time, so you can quickly see how the results changed during the selected period.

In addition to the main metrics, the Overview tab also displays additional cards that help you better understand what the results are made up of.

These cards are especially useful when you want to quickly see what has the biggest impact on the results and which parts of sales are worth monitoring in more detail.

At the top of the section, in addition to the Overview tab, you will also find the following tabs:

  • By place - you can compare the same data across individual businesses or locations.
  • By payment method - breaks down the results by payment method, for example into cash, card, or other payment types.
  • By VAT rate - a breakdown of data by individual VAT rates.
  • By day - provides a daily overview where you can view results broken down by specific days.

This allows you to view the same data from different angles — sometimes as an overall overview, other times by specific place, payment type, VAT rate, or individual days.

Working with filters

The filter panel on the left side of the screen also works in the Sales section. Using filters, you can narrow down the entire overview, for example by period, merchant, business, product category, product, or payment type.

You can find a more detailed guide to working with filters in the article Working with filters in Premium Analytics.

Additional card options

Each card contains a menu with additional options for working with the overview. In the menu, you will find:

  • Each card also contains a menu with additional options. For a specific card, you can use refresh, full-screen view, switch to table, or download data. Data from individual cards can be exported, for example to CSV, Excel, or downloaded as an image.
  • There is also a download option in the top right corner of the section.
Tip: When working with data in more detail, it is worth combining switching between views with the filters on the left side. This way, you can quickly display only the data you are interested in at that moment.
