In the web administration, you can set your profile picture, first name, last name, interface language, and PIN. You can access the user settings as follows:
- In the web administration, click the user icon 👤 in the top right corner.
- Then click your name.
- To open the profile settings, you will be asked to enter your password.
Profile picture
Here you can upload or remove your profile picture. The profile picture is displayed in the list of users when signing in to the application.
First name and last name
You can edit your first name and last name here; these details will then appear in the list of users when signing in to the application. The username cannot be changed.
Interface language
In the drop-down menu, you can choose your preferred language for the web administration (e.g. Czech or English). Changing the language will affect the language of the entire web administration interface, but it will not change the language of the Storyous application on your POS device – there you need to change the language directly in the settings of the given device.
In the web administration, everything is primarily set up for Czech, Slovak and English, so some of the newer features may not be translated into other languages.
Password
It is not possible to change your password directly in the profile. You can find instructions for setting a new password in the article Forgotten password.
PIN
The PIN code is used for quick sign-in to the POS application. Simply set a four-digit number so that you do not have to enter the full password the next time you sign in. You can also set the PIN directly in the POS application; you can find the instructions in the article Setting a PIN for login.
